Braun Intertec recently donated some much needed tools to the Engineers Without Borders USA University of Minnesota Twin Cities Chapter (EWB-USA UMN). Engineers Without Borders is a non-profit organization that partners with communities around the world to improve their quality of life through engineering projects that prove to be environmentally and economically sustainable. Minneapolis High School Student Receives Braun Intertec Scholarship
Braun Intertec, in partnership with the Wallin organization, recently awarded Minneapolis Southwest High School student, Mohamed Mohamed, with a college scholarship. At the welcoming reception held in June, our very own Dan Holte welcomed Mohamed as the first Braun Intertec Scholar recipient. Mohamed plans on pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul. Ponytail Posse, an all-girls robotics team from Shoreview, MN recently visited our Minneapolis location to tell us a bit about what their group does and demonstrate some of their robot’s capabilities. This talented team participates in the “FIRST” program where they design, build, and program a robot to compete against other teams at regional tournaments.
